Narrative:

I was informed of a special event fair. I called FSS and checked WX. WX was fine and no NOTAMS. I flew to ZZZ and about 5 mi out called unicom 122.8 and asked if there was transportation to the fair. I was informed the fair was at ZZZ1 to the northeast of ZZZ. I said ok, looked up ZZZ1 and called unicom 123.0 and received no answer. With the airport in sight, called again and again -- no answer. Proceeded to airport and saw 1 aircraft on short final runway 32, so proceeded overhead at 2500 ft, unaware of the restr area over the fair. I made a left turn just north of the airport within the boundaries of the airport, called unicom again, and entered a left downwind, and proceeded to land runway 32. I was surprised to find I had done this and feel I acted safely. However, under the attacks, I understand the importance of the tfr restrs and you can be assured I will be more careful to investigate this type of flight in all flts in the future.
