Narrative:

Havana control handed us off to miami center. I misheard the frequency. I could hear other aircraft talking to mia, but not mia, so I assumed I was slightly out of range (this has happened to me on the route before). After 35NM, I went back to havana and obtained the correct frequency. Miami was mad and acted most unprofessionally. Even subsequent controls were abusive. Contributing to this event: fatigue (I had been up for 26 hours), mia center frequencys are not on latin america 'high' chart, I was eating during this, first officer was brand new, havana radio is not the best, miami controls were extremly rude, this made me mad, making it even harder to work effectively.
