Narrative:

Adams tower cleared our takeoff. On the takeoff roll a tug and one other vehicle crossed the runway midfield. We were in the takeoff roll and had to consider an abort. I felt that the tug would clear the runway in time and they did. Tower was told about the crossing and responded with an affirmative. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated that on takeoff roll the vehicles had just cleared the runway and we passed over them with plenty of ht. The reporter said this airport has little traffic and everyone including the tower controller is laid back and relaxed. The reporter stated the tower controller responded with an affirmative and was aware of the tug and vehicle crossing the runway. The reporter said this airport also has a language problem that may have added something to the incident.
