Narrative:

On final approach to ZZZ, us, for a practice touch and go, we were informed by an unidentified voice on the radio that the airspace was still closed due to the national emergency. Our flight was from one uncontrolled airport to another one. I had contacted the office of the airport manager at another uncontrolled airport to see when the airspace was expected to open and was told the plan was for XA00 am local time. All the news reports confirmed that schedule until I left home for the flight. The schedule was changed after that. As soon as we were informed that the airspace was still closed, we returned to our departure point, approximately 10 min. I never would have made the takeoff if I had known the airspace was still closed.
