Narrative:

Passenger in question had been very concerned for the entire flight about making her connection in dallas. The captain offered to go speak with her. She seemed at ease after speaking with the captain. (We had taken a delay in dca due to a mechanical and she was very upset by this.) at the end of the flight the captain made his 'prepare for landing' public address. The passenger called me over and said the captain had promised her an update as we got closer. I explained to her that I had just spoken with the captain and he didn't offer any additional information as to her connection. She wanted me to go and 'get answers' for her. I explained to her that we were in a critical stage in our flight and we were not allowed in the cockpit except for extreme emergencys. I also told her that once we had landed safely on the ground I would double check with the captain to be sure he didn't have any additional information for her. She didn't respond to me so I assumed she was okay with this and I went to my jump seat. A few mins later she came up to the forward part of the cabin and demanded information and refused to take her seat until she got some. At this point, I called the captain and told him of my situation. He told me to tell her to situation down. I did and she refused -- crossing her arms like a child pitching a temper tantrum. After several attempts, I told her the captain will not land this plane with you standing so if you don't situation down he's going back up. Several passenger in first class heard this and were concerned with making their own connections and started yelling at her to situation down. She reached for the phone wanting to speak to the captain. At this point, the captain had already hung up on me and the plane began its ascent back up. I very sternly told the passenger 'you have now caused us to have to go back up and get back in line. The captain is not going to speak with you. I would suggest you take your seat.' which she did finally. The captain called after we were back up to make sure everything was okay and she was seated. Upon landing and once we parked at the gate, the captain came out of the cockpit and pulled the passenger aside. When the door opened there were 4 uniformed officers waiting for her for questioning.

Title: PAX MISCONDUCT RESULTS IN ARPT AUTHORITIES QUESTIONING PAX ACTION UPON ARRIVAL.

Narrative: PAX IN QUESTION HAD BEEN VERY CONCERNED FOR THE ENTIRE FLT ABOUT MAKING HER CONNECTION IN DALLAS. THE CAPT OFFERED TO GO SPEAK WITH HER. SHE SEEMED AT EASE AFTER SPEAKING WITH THE CAPT. (WE HAD TAKEN A DELAY IN DCA DUE TO A MECHANICAL AND SHE WAS VERY UPSET BY THIS.) AT THE END OF THE FLT THE CAPT MADE HIS 'PREPARE FOR LNDG' PUBLIC ADDRESS. THE PAX CALLED ME OVER AND SAID THE CAPT HAD PROMISED HER AN UPDATE AS WE GOT CLOSER. I EXPLAINED TO HER THAT I HAD JUST SPOKEN WITH THE CAPT AND HE DIDN'T OFFER ANY ADDITIONAL INFO AS TO HER CONNECTION. SHE WANTED ME TO GO AND 'GET ANSWERS' FOR HER. I EXPLAINED TO HER THAT WE WERE IN A CRITICAL STAGE IN OUR FLT AND WE WERE NOT ALLOWED IN THE COCKPIT EXCEPT FOR EXTREME EMERS. I ALSO TOLD HER THAT ONCE WE HAD LANDED SAFELY ON THE GND I WOULD DOUBLE CHK WITH THE CAPT TO BE SURE HE DIDN'T HAVE ANY ADDITIONAL INFO FOR HER. SHE DIDN'T RESPOND TO ME SO I ASSUMED SHE WAS OKAY WITH THIS AND I WENT TO MY JUMP SEAT. A FEW MINS LATER SHE CAME UP TO THE FORWARD PART OF THE CABIN AND DEMANDED INFO AND REFUSED TO TAKE HER SEAT UNTIL SHE GOT SOME. AT THIS POINT, I CALLED THE CAPT AND TOLD HIM OF MY SIT. HE TOLD ME TO TELL HER TO SIT DOWN. I DID AND SHE REFUSED -- CROSSING HER ARMS LIKE A CHILD PITCHING A TEMPER TANTRUM. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS, I TOLD HER THE CAPT WILL NOT LAND THIS PLANE WITH YOU STANDING SO IF YOU DON'T SIT DOWN HE'S GOING BACK UP. SEVERAL PAX IN FIRST CLASS HEARD THIS AND WERE CONCERNED WITH MAKING THEIR OWN CONNECTIONS AND STARTED YELLING AT HER TO SIT DOWN. SHE REACHED FOR THE PHONE WANTING TO SPEAK TO THE CAPT. AT THIS POINT, THE CAPT HAD ALREADY HUNG UP ON ME AND THE PLANE BEGAN ITS ASCENT BACK UP. I VERY STERNLY TOLD THE PAX 'YOU HAVE NOW CAUSED US TO HAVE TO GO BACK UP AND GET BACK IN LINE. THE CAPT IS NOT GOING TO SPEAK WITH YOU. I WOULD SUGGEST YOU TAKE YOUR SEAT.' WHICH SHE DID FINALLY. THE CAPT CALLED AFTER WE WERE BACK UP TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS OKAY AND SHE WAS SEATED. UPON LNDG AND ONCE WE PARKED AT THE GATE, THE CAPT CAME OUT OF THE COCKPIT AND PULLED THE PAX ASIDE. WHEN THE DOOR OPENED THERE WERE 4 UNIFORMED OFFICERS WAITING FOR HER FOR QUESTIONING.
