Narrative:

Prior to sterile chime, cockpit informed passenger of trouble with aircraft and informed that they were talking with maintenance on telephone to try to resolve. All flight attendants heard alarms over PA, that were ringing in cockpit. Flight attendant #2 went inside cockpit. Captain informed him that we were having trouble with stabilizer, that they were on phone with maintenance. Alarms were constantly sounding in cockpit. This situation was serious, although the problem was resolved without incident. The PA system on aircraft was almost inaudible, and the phone system in aft aircraft was almost inaudible as well. Upon arrival in xyz, a flight service manager called the gate. We met with him in the office to discuss the situation.
