Narrative:

Oak approach told us to maintain clear of the B777 and then he cleared us for the visual to runway 29. From 7000 ft we started descending and reaching 5800 ft oak approach said 'XXX #### what are you doing, go back to 6000 ft. You were supposed to be at 7000 ft.' so we went back up to 6000 ft and approach switched us off to another oak approach and they said not to worry about it.

FROM 7000 FT WE STARTED DSNDING AND REACHING 5800 FT OAK APCH SAID 'XXX #### WHAT ARE YOU DOING, GO BACK TO 6000 FT. YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE AT 7000 FT.' SO WE WENT BACK UP TO 6000 FT AND APCH SWITCHED US OFF TO ANOTHER OAK APCH AND THEY SAID NOT TO WORRY ABOUT IT.
