Narrative:

While between ric and dca first officer accidentally hit the landing gear lever. Gear deployed with aircraft in flight at 280 KTS at 22000 ft MSL. Immediately retarded the thrust levers to slow aircraft to below 250 KTS and retarded gear lever to up position landing gear lever disagree message appeared on EICAS when gear retracted. Slowed aircraft to below 250 KTS, referenced the cfm. Per the cfm, recycled the landing gear. EICAS message still displayed. Returned gear to down position and all indications were normal. Declared emergency and continued to dca and landed without incident.

Title: E145 FO ACCIDENTALLY EXTENDED THE LNDG GEAR WHILE ACFT WAS ABOVE THE MAX LNDG GEAR OPERATING SPD.

Narrative: WHILE BTWN RIC AND DCA FO ACCIDENTALLY HIT THE LNDG GEAR LEVER. GEAR DEPLOYED WITH ACFT IN FLT AT 280 KTS AT 22000 FT MSL. IMMEDIATELY RETARDED THE THRUST LEVERS TO SLOW ACFT TO BELOW 250 KTS AND RETARDED GEAR LEVER TO UP POS LNDG GEAR LEVER DISAGREE MESSAGE APPEARED ON EICAS WHEN GEAR RETRACTED. SLOWED ACFT TO BELOW 250 KTS, REFED THE CFM. PER THE CFM, RECYCLED THE LNDG GEAR. EICAS MESSAGE STILL DISPLAYED. RETURNED GEAR TO DOWN POS AND ALL INDICATIONS WERE NORMAL. DECLARED EMER AND CONTINUED TO DCA AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.
