Narrative:

As I was over runway intersection lga tower, controller said 'aircraft rolling on runway -- look to your left and climb to 2000 ft.' I was directly over runway and my wings obscured runway view. Advised tower. Was told to look again. Again advised I had not viewed runway. Then advised 'traffic no factor, descend to 1500 ft.' I still have no idea of the problem. Did tower roll air carrier too early? I was exactly where I was told to be. Was there a conflict? Unsettling to be sure.
