Narrative:

I received a call from ZZZ maintenance. They had installed a flex hose in hydraulic system #1, with a previous hose installed in system #3. I asked if they had checked chapter 20 of the maintenance manual for any restrs. The mechanic assured me there were no restrs. A review of 20-10-01-2 state only one system can have a flex hose. I called ZZZ maintenance to inform them of the aircraft out of confign after the aircraft left the gate but before it had taken off. An item was written and made a priority #1.
