Location: 65 mi west modesto. Cleared out of FL310 to FL280. Passing FL300 TCASII RA climb now. Oakland called to climb to FL370. Questioned altitude and informed them we were reacting to an RA and had traffic in sight. Reclred to FL310. Clear of traffic. Immediately cleared to FL240.
