Narrative:

Just after cri VOR we descended to 800 ft and searched for the lead-in lights and airport. The winds were at or near our tailwind maximum limit. Tower cleared us to land and stated altitude alert, check altitude, cleared to land runway 13L. We appeared to be at the correct altitude and could not identify why tower received an altitude alert. We continued in visual conditions with a normal approach and crosswind landing.
