Narrative:

Approximately while on a 4-5 mi final to runway 3 into abq, the right engine did not reduce power when the throttle was retracted. Left engine and throttle were normal. Retarded right throttle to idle, but right engine continued to develop low cruise power. Shut down right engine to maintain directional control on landing. Abq tower dispatched fire/rescue as a precautionary measure. Was able to taxi on left engine to FBO terminal without stopping. Advised tower staying on frequency while taxiing.
