Narrative:

I'd like to report an incident on air carrier XXX with a spoiler problem I worked and placarded. Placarding the spoilers requires a maintenance procedures manual to be accomplished per MEL, which technical services issued me. After placarding the spoilers, I later realized that only 1 symmetrical pair can be placarded, not all spoilers, as was done. Notified next station the aircraft flew to, but they had already cleared the placard, finding no faults in the spoiler system.
