Narrative:

We were cleared den direct to oal and the el nido arrival. Oal transition was initially entered, but after changing runways, it was dropped. Flight plan reverted to oal direct hyp. ATC questioned why we had not turned on the oal transition and then cleared us direct to hyp. We failed to verify that the oal transition was properly reinserted. New first officer and subsequent conversations led to this oversight on my part.
