Narrative:

I did not change to tower at the OM for my landing on runway 24R at lax. I think I was told by approach to intercept the final and contact the tower at the OM, cleared visual approach runway 24R. I put the tower frequency in and forgot to FLIP the switch and call tower at the OM. After landing and while holding short of runway 24L, we noticed the switch was not on tower. We flipped the switch and tower was calling us. They told us they had tried us 4 times and we were cleared across runway 24L. Landing was otherwise completely normal. I think a lack of concentration on my part caused this to happen. I was the captain and should have been more aware.

Title: AFTER OBTAINING APCH CLRNC AND PAST TIME POINT OF NORMAL FREQ CHANGE, MD80 LANDED WITHOUT COMPLETING FREQ CHANGE AT OM. ERROR DISCOVERED AFTER EXITING RWY 24R, WAITING TO CROSS RWY 24L.

Narrative: I DID NOT CHANGE TO TWR AT THE OM FOR MY LNDG ON RWY 24R AT LAX. I THINK I WAS TOLD BY APCH TO INTERCEPT THE FINAL AND CONTACT THE TWR AT THE OM, CLRED VISUAL APCH RWY 24R. I PUT THE TWR FREQ IN AND FORGOT TO FLIP THE SWITCH AND CALL TWR AT THE OM. AFTER LNDG AND WHILE HOLDING SHORT OF RWY 24L, WE NOTICED THE SWITCH WAS NOT ON TWR. WE FLIPPED THE SWITCH AND TWR WAS CALLING US. THEY TOLD US THEY HAD TRIED US 4 TIMES AND WE WERE CLRED ACROSS RWY 24L. LNDG WAS OTHERWISE COMPLETELY NORMAL. I THINK A LACK OF CONCENTRATION ON MY PART CAUSED THIS TO HAPPEN. I WAS THE CAPT AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE AWARE.
