While approaching to land at private grass strip, unmarked power lines were severed. 2ND plane in pattern to land. 1ST plane was a turnoff when large tree at approach end was cleared. Power lines were 'unviewable' until they were cut with propeller blade. Added full power nose down after wires cut, landed, parked and reviewed airworthiness of plane with a&P.
