Narrative:

We were cleared for takeoff on isp runway 6. A helicopter was practicing either an approach or automatic-rotation to runway 33L with the apparent aim point just southeast of the intersection of runway 33L and runway 6. During our initial takeoff roll, tower indicated the helicopter would remain short of our runway. I acknowledge 'roger.' as we approached the intersection, the helicopter said they were going around. Tower directed him to remain short of runway 24. The helicopter replied unable. We delayed our rotation (copilot flying) as we saw the helicopter would pass right overhead. We estimate the helicopter passed 200 ft right above us.

Narrative: WE WERE CLRED FOR TKOF ON ISP RWY 6. A HELI WAS PRACTICING EITHER AN APCH OR AUTO-ROTATION TO RWY 33L WITH THE APPARENT AIM POINT JUST SE OF THE INTXN OF RWY 33L AND RWY 6. DURING OUR INITIAL TKOF ROLL, TWR INDICATED THE HELI WOULD REMAIN SHORT OF OUR RWY. I ACKNOWLEDGE 'ROGER.' AS WE APCHED THE INTXN, THE HELI SAID THEY WERE GOING AROUND. TWR DIRECTED HIM TO REMAIN SHORT OF RWY 24. THE HELI REPLIED UNABLE. WE DELAYED OUR ROTATION (COPLT FLYING) AS WE SAW THE HELI WOULD PASS RIGHT OVERHEAD. WE ESTIMATE THE HELI PASSED 200 FT RIGHT ABOVE US.
