Citation switched to center frequency -- appeared to climb out of 10000 ft. F100 departure continued climb to now vacant altitude at 10000 ft, and was switched to center frequency. Citation returned to level flight at 10000 ft. Center was contacted regarding potential conflict. Center controller replied they would resolve the problem, but separation was lost.
