Narrative:
I was climbing aircraft X wbound out of cle to ord. The high altitude sector inserted FL260 in the data block. I misread the altitude and climbed aircraft X to FL280. He crossed about 3.4 mi on the back side of another air carrier jet.

Narrative: I WAS CLBING ACFT X WBOUND OUT OF CLE TO ORD. THE HIGH ALT SECTOR INSERTED FL260 IN THE DATA BLOCK. I MISREAD THE ALT AND CLBED ACFT X TO FL280. HE CROSSED ABOUT 3.4 MI ON THE BACK SIDE OF ANOTHER ACR JET.
