Narrative:

A cement mixing truck moved to the edge of the taxiway just as I started to taxi. As I proceeded past the truck, I misjudged the distance and my wingtip touched the fender of the truck. There was damage to the wingtip, none to the truck. I judged the distance as I started to taxi and did not re-evaluate as I got closer.

Title: PA28 STRIKES VEHICLE STOPPED ALONG TXWY.

Narrative: A CEMENT MIXING TRUCK MOVED TO THE EDGE OF THE TXWY JUST AS I STARTED TO TAXI. AS I PROCEEDED PAST THE TRUCK, I MISJUDGED THE DISTANCE AND MY WINGTIP TOUCHED THE FENDER OF THE TRUCK. THERE WAS DAMAGE TO THE WINGTIP, NONE TO THE TRUCK. I JUDGED THE DISTANCE AS I STARTED TO TAXI AND DID NOT RE-EVALUATE AS I GOT CLOSER.
