Narrative:

XA20, may/fri/01. I lifted off the pad at YYY from hospital. The WX was 900 ft broken, 5 mi visibility. Destination airport becomes class east airspace upon airport closure. I was inbound. I got 1.5 mi into the surface area when I realized I needed an SVFR clearance into the class east airspace. By the time I had dialed in approach, I was already 1 mi away from the airport. I made my last call on CTAF and landed at ZZZ. Solution: pay closer attention to the WX (ASOS and AWOS, etc).
