Narrative:

During the profile descent into toronto, ATC told us to expect ILS runway 6R. After looking through my approach charts, I realized I did not have ILS runway 6R. I recently updated all my charts, however, I soon realized the revision did not become effective until mar/xa/01. Fortunately, my first officer still had a copy of ILS runway 6R and his charts from his last revision. However, we both decided to do the ILS runway 5 since we both had current charts and informed ATC of our situation.
