Flight from alb to dca XA00 local time. Cleared to cross bwi at 10000 ft. Pressure controller operation on standby. Set altitude in window. Apparently VNAV disconnected. Realized airplane was not initiating descent. Started down manually. Bwi reclred us to 10000 ft. We were distraction by manually operating pressure control system (on MEL).
