FL240 received clearance to turn 5 NM right intercept maverick 306 degree radial, cross kagle 10000 ft. First officer read 10000 ft back, set 10000 ft in altitude window. Captain verified 10000 ft, started down. Controller said 'comply with speeds on STAR.' about 15000 ft, controller said 'you can keep your speed up, comply at kagle with speeds on STAR. At siler intersection, disregard kagle in previous line.' 2 mins after we were at 10000 ft, controller said 'climb to 11000 ft.' controller said nothing else.
