Narrative:

Before takeoff, tower instructed a turn to 210 degrees after departure, runway 18L. Started turn and tower handed us off to departure. Reporter (who was PF) became momentarily distraction by extensive area of brush fires on the ground. Passed through 210 degree heading to about 250 degrees. At that time, departure control queried as to our heading. By then we were back in the turn to 210 degrees. We were off heading for maybe 10 seconds. No conflict. Factors: fatigue from extensive back of clock flying, and inattn due to distraction on ground.
