Narrative:

On feb/fri/01 at approximately XA30Z, while established on the ILS to runway 6 at abe, the #1 engine fire warning bell sounded and the respective warning light illuminated. Memory items were accomplished by captain and flight engineer. First officer continued to fly the aircraft. We declared an emergency and the appropriate checklists were accomplished, otherwise an uneventful landing was accomplished. After landing, the aircraft was met by emergency equipment crews and no fire was detected by the fire department, and the aircraft was allowed to taxi to the gate.

Title: B727 CAPT DECLARED AN EMER DURING AN ILS APCH DUE TO AN ENG FIRE WARNING FOR THE #1 ENG. AFTER LNDG EMER EQUIP PERSONNEL MET AND INSPECTED THE ACFT AND FOUND NO FIRE. ACFT TAXIED TO PARKING UNDER ITS OWN PWR.

AFTER LNDG, THE ACFT WAS MET BY EMER EQUIP CREWS AND NO FIRE WAS DETECTED BY THE FIRE DEPT, AND THE ACFT WAS ALLOWED TO TAXI TO THE GATE.
