Narrative:

We dialed in 11000 ft and reported to ATC leveling at 11000 ft. ATC responded that we were cleared to 10000 ft. I cannot say for certain what the altitude was in our clearance. There was no traffic in the area (from our TCASII). ATC gave us a turn and let us stay at 11000 ft until we were cleared on up.
