Narrative:

ZTL descended our flight to FL270 from FL280. In our descent, we encountered light to moderate chop. Captain was flying and slowed aircraft from 270 KIAS to 250 KIAS. The autoplt overshot altitude by 200 ft to FL268. The autoplt was recovering to FL270, when ATC asked if we were level at FL270. There was an air carrier Y jet at FL260 and said there was a 700 ft difference. We never received a TA or RA. Our altitude was never more than FL268 when the autoplt overshot.
