Narrative:

I was receiving dual recurrency training with an ATP cfii and had just completed a practice ILS at awm. In departing the area in IFR to do air work, I realized we had inadvertently entered overflying class B airspace when we exceeded 3000 ft MSL. I thought we were in an area permitting 5000 ft MSL. We were close, but not there yet. I don't think ATC will contact us, but nevertheless it was a lesson learned. Technically, any enforcement action would probably be against the instructor, but I still feel responsible.
