Narrative:

Leveled off at FL240. ATC informed us that altitude was indicating FL243. Both pilot's and copilot's altimeters were 29.92 and showed a 300 ft difference. Copilot's altimeter used and continued flight to destination (evv) after contacting company flight control center. Aircraft maintenance ferried back to atlanta for repairs.

Title: ZTL ALERT E1120 FLC OF INCORRECT ALT. FLC DETERMINES PROB CAPT'S ALTIMETER, WHICH HAD RECENT MAINT.

Narrative: LEVELED OFF AT FL240. ATC INFORMED US THAT ALT WAS INDICATING FL243. BOTH PLT'S AND COPLT'S ALTIMETERS WERE 29.92 AND SHOWED A 300 FT DIFFERENCE. COPLT'S ALTIMETER USED AND CONTINUED FLT TO DEST (EVV) AFTER CONTACTING COMPANY FLT CTL CTR. ACFT MAINT FERRIED BACK TO ATLANTA FOR REPAIRS.
