Narrative:

We operated an aircraft other than that listed on dispatch release. Release was amended when discrepancy noted. Even though I am diligent in attempting to have the paperwork correct, our company uses such antiquated methods for dispatching, etc, that differences often occur on releases. It is inevitable that eventually you will miss a discrepancy. It may well be through a disruption in the cockpit in preparing to go and I have no idea what made me miss the difference on this day. The company should improve their methods of preparing releases so as to reduce exposures to these problems.
