Narrative:

Approaching iad from the south on the coatt 3 arrival, dulles approach usually tells you to expect runway 1L. The captain and I planned for runway 1L, but they assigned us runway 1R, but we had set up the localizer frequencys for runway 1L. They vectored us after barin intersection to intercept runway 1R. My EFIS displayed the localizer course, the captain's displayed the FMS course. We passed the localizer for runway 1R, and the captain stated 'we crossed the runway 1R localizer.' I said no, because according to my EFIS we hadn't intercepted it yet. A few moments later, the autoplt captured the runway 1L localizer and the airplane turned to intercept. It was then that I noticed that my localizer frequency was set to runway 1L. I disconnected the autoplt and turned to intercept the runway 1R localizer. Approach said 'oh, I see you're correcting now.' nothing else was mentioned. The problem was my lack of situational awareness and forgetting to change my localizer frequency from the expected approach to the assigned approach.

Title: FO OF A CANADAIR CL65 OVERSHOT FINAL ILS APCH DUE TO BEING TUNED TO THE WRONG PARALLEL RWY ILS. HE AND THE CAPT REALIZED THEIR MISTAKE AND WERE CORRECTING BACK ON COURSE WHEN APCH CTLR ALSO BROUGHT THE ERROR TO THEIR ATTN.

Narrative: APCHING IAD FROM THE S ON THE COATT 3 ARR, DULLES APCH USUALLY TELLS YOU TO EXPECT RWY 1L. THE CAPT AND I PLANNED FOR RWY 1L, BUT THEY ASSIGNED US RWY 1R, BUT WE HAD SET UP THE LOC FREQS FOR RWY 1L. THEY VECTORED US AFTER BARIN INTXN TO INTERCEPT RWY 1R. MY EFIS DISPLAYED THE LOC COURSE, THE CAPT'S DISPLAYED THE FMS COURSE. WE PASSED THE LOC FOR RWY 1R, AND THE CAPT STATED 'WE CROSSED THE RWY 1R LOC.' I SAID NO, BECAUSE ACCORDING TO MY EFIS WE HADN'T INTERCEPTED IT YET. A FEW MOMENTS LATER, THE AUTOPLT CAPTURED THE RWY 1L LOC AND THE AIRPLANE TURNED TO INTERCEPT. IT WAS THEN THAT I NOTICED THAT MY LOC FREQ WAS SET TO RWY 1L. I DISCONNECTED THE AUTOPLT AND TURNED TO INTERCEPT THE RWY 1R LOC. APCH SAID 'OH, I SEE YOU'RE CORRECTING NOW.' NOTHING ELSE WAS MENTIONED. THE PROB WAS MY LACK OF SITUATIONAL AWARENESS AND FORGETTING TO CHANGE MY LOC FREQ FROM THE EXPECTED APCH TO THE ASSIGNED APCH.
