Narrative:
Aircraft was assigned off of a vector to fly direct to tfd VOR and climb and maintain FL210 when captain was reviewing SID, failed to level off at assigned altitude. At a +300 ft altitude, the captain initiated corrective action.

Title: A LEAR 35 PIC CLBS 300 FT ABOVE HIS ASSIGNED INTERMEDIATE ALT BEFORE RETURNING TO FL210 NEAR TFD, AZ.
Narrative: ACFT WAS ASSIGNED OFF OF A VECTOR TO FLY DIRECT TO TFD VOR AND CLB AND MAINTAIN FL210 WHEN CAPT WAS REVIEWING SID, FAILED TO LEVEL OFF AT ASSIGNED ALT. AT A +300 FT ALT, THE CAPT INITIATED CORRECTIVE ACTION.
