Narrative:

Changed to this airport en route by request of passenger. Was not familiar with airport. After landing, requested taxi information to FBO. I landed on runway 9L, exited at taxiway right. I thought he said taxi down runway 27L to the FBO. After I turned onto runway 27L, I didn't have a good feeling, and asked if I was on the correct route. Controller replied, 'no, you're on an active runway, turn left at taxiway P.' no traffic was in the area. Runway 9L is 9600 ft, runway 9L/27L is 3578 ft long. I didn't like the clearance as I understood, but should have questioned before proceeding.
