Narrative:

We were en route from slc to tus at FL370. ZLC had cleared us direct bce and then flight planned route which was J11 to pxr and the dingo 5 arrival to tus. At some point, ATC failed to hand us off to the next sector before we flew out of their radio range. We discovered we weren't in contact with ATC over drk, so we found a ZAB frequency and re-established contact. While we were out of contact with ATC, our company flight control was also trying to reach us. Though we were monitoring the proper frequency via SELCAL, flight control wasn't able to reach us.
