Narrative:

No event occurred. The runway markings for the albert whitted airport are unacceptable. The airport says they have no money for the markings. This situation is a runway incursion waiting to happen. I fly about 25 hours a month out of this airport and you can assume that this is a large concern among the flying community. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter indicated that he has observed numerous near and actual runway and taxiway incursions because of the deterioration of the surface markings. This includes: displaced threshold markings, runway numbers, movement and non movement marking boundaries, and taxi lines.
