Narrative:

ATC advised us of traffic at 12 O'clock position, then gave us a descent through his altitude. RA activated at 7700 ft commanding a climb. The other aircraft also initiated a climb causing the TCASII to command a descent. Supplemental information from acn 488213: the light plane was climbing same time we were, so the descent was necessary.

Title: A TCASII RA FLOWN BECAUSE OF CONFLICT WITH ADVISORY TFC THAT WAS NOT INITIALLY IN SIGHT.

Narrative: ATC ADVISED US OF TFC AT 12 O'CLOCK POS, THEN GAVE US A DSCNT THROUGH HIS ALT. RA ACTIVATED AT 7700 FT COMMANDING A CLB. THE OTHER ACFT ALSO INITIATED A CLB CAUSING THE TCASII TO COMMAND A DSCNT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 488213: THE LIGHT PLANE WAS CLBING SAME TIME WE WERE, SO THE DSCNT WAS NECESSARY.
