Narrative:

I was notified by the supervisor that an aircraft was coming to ZZZ with an inoperative stabilizer trim motor. I was not informed that this aircraft was a maintenance ferry. The stabilizer trim motor was replaced in accordance with the maintenance manual. Aircraft was dispatched without an airworthiness release sign off. The PIC noticed the logbook did not have an airworthiness release signature. At that time maintenance was notified and an airworthiness release was issued.
