Narrative:

Just prior to takeoff, pit-bna, forward flight attendants reported unidentifiable odor at their jump seat station. After a brief discussion, aircraft was taxied back to gate. The odor was brief in duration and disappeared during taxi in. Maintenance replaced the TCASII processor unit and inspected aircraft. Flight departed 1 hour late to bna with no further problems.

Title: AN ACR CAPT RPTED THAT AN UNIDENTIFIABLE ODOR WAS RPTED BY THE FLT ATTENDANT TO THE CAPT DURING TAXI. THE CAPT RETURNED TO THE GATE AND THE TCASII PROCESSOR UNIT WAS REPLACED.
