Narrative:

We were flying direct to PUTT2 intersection and then given a 010 degree heading to intercept and fly jason two arrival. Instead of intercepting aml 259 degree radial and flying to doccs intersection we flew direct to doccs intersection. The WX was IMC, there was precipitation and thunderstorms in the area. The captain was hand-flying and the workload was high. The ATC advised us of our off course position and gave us a 330 degree heading to reintercept.
