Narrative:
Took delay at dfw to verify that MEL system 28-25 requirements were met. A cockpit initiated fuel system test must be accomplished after each refueling per maintenance manual procedures manual 28-25. This aircraft flew multiple flts without any logbook signoff that test was done. Should not the MEL placard be a required check placard?

Title: AN MD11 WAS DISPATCHED ON MULTIPLE TRIPS IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH A DEFERRED ITEM REQUIRING COCKPIT FUEL QUANTITY TESTING PRIOR TO REFUELING WITH NO LOGBOOK SIGNOFF VERIFYING TESTS.
Narrative: TOOK DELAY AT DFW TO VERIFY THAT MEL SYS 28-25 REQUIREMENTS WERE MET. A COCKPIT INITIATED FUEL SYS TEST MUST BE ACCOMPLISHED AFTER EACH REFUELING PER MAINT MANUAL PROCS MANUAL 28-25.
