Narrative:

I believe you and everyone should be aware that this problem still exists at air carrier X, but no one -- company or labor -- is willing to acknowledge it. I flew with a copilot who was angry with me because I went to work during a strike. He was not here at that time. He was communicating with me for a while during flight planning, but as the flight wore on, he became less communicative. We had 2 minor things happen before takeoff -- fuel imbal due to shutting down an engine, and 1 engine taxi. I asked if anyone had a problem with the procedure I was doing, and he did express his disagreement. We were able to solve them to his satisfaction, but he was not happy. The fuel was balanced by takeoff, due to a 1 hour delay. We called our maintenance and they told us there was no restr -- fuel was balanced at takeoff. 1 engine taxi is approved by our manual. He said the company did not want it done. Upon our arrival at paris, france, he was the PNF. I was hand flying, but unless I specifically asked for something, he would not spontaneously do a procedure (SOP). I felt as though I was flying solo. Upon arrival at the gate, I had a talk with him and told him I could not fly this airplane alone and was able to land only because I was familiar with the operation at paris. I feel this social problem at our air carrier is very unsafe and is still occasionally happening. The air carrier flight office is not willing to acknowledge this is still going on. I hope there are no accidents because of this.

Title: CAPT OF A B777 COMPLAINS REGARDING LACK OF FO COOPERATION AND DISAGREEMENT WITH HIS EQUIP OPS, EVEN THOUGH HE OPERATES THE EQUIP IN ACCORDANCE WITH COMPANY PROCS.

Narrative: I BELIEVE YOU AND EVERYONE SHOULD BE AWARE THAT THIS PROB STILL EXISTS AT ACR X, BUT NO ONE -- COMPANY OR LABOR -- IS WILLING TO ACKNOWLEDGE IT. I FLEW WITH A COPLT WHO WAS ANGRY WITH ME BECAUSE I WENT TO WORK DURING A STRIKE. HE WAS NOT HERE AT THAT TIME. HE WAS COMMUNICATING WITH ME FOR A WHILE DURING FLT PLANNING, BUT AS THE FLT WORE ON, HE BECAME LESS COMMUNICATIVE. WE HAD 2 MINOR THINGS HAPPEN BEFORE TKOF -- FUEL IMBAL DUE TO SHUTTING DOWN AN ENG, AND 1 ENG TAXI. I ASKED IF ANYONE HAD A PROB WITH THE PROC I WAS DOING, AND HE DID EXPRESS HIS DISAGREEMENT. WE WERE ABLE TO SOLVE THEM TO HIS SATISFACTION, BUT HE WAS NOT HAPPY. THE FUEL WAS BALANCED BY TKOF, DUE TO A 1 HR DELAY. WE CALLED OUR MAINT AND THEY TOLD US THERE WAS NO RESTR -- FUEL WAS BALANCED AT TKOF. 1 ENG TAXI IS APPROVED BY OUR MANUAL. HE SAID THE COMPANY DID NOT WANT IT DONE. UPON OUR ARR AT PARIS, FRANCE, HE WAS THE PNF. I WAS HAND FLYING, BUT UNLESS I SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR SOMETHING, HE WOULD NOT SPONTANEOUSLY DO A PROC (SOP). I FELT AS THOUGH I WAS FLYING SOLO. UPON ARR AT THE GATE, I HAD A TALK WITH HIM AND TOLD HIM I COULD NOT FLY THIS AIRPLANE ALONE AND WAS ABLE TO LAND ONLY BECAUSE I WAS FAMILIAR WITH THE OP AT PARIS. I FEEL THIS SOCIAL PROB AT OUR ACR IS VERY UNSAFE AND IS STILL OCCASIONALLY HAPPENING. THE ACR FLT OFFICE IS NOT WILLING TO ACKNOWLEDGE THIS IS STILL GOING ON. I HOPE THERE ARE NO ACCIDENTS BECAUSE OF THIS.
