Narrative:

An intoxicated passenger got on board, stored her bags, then asked flight attendant #2 if alcohol would be served during the flight. The passenger was stumbling and smelled of alcohol. The #2 flight attendant came up front while passenger was in lavatory to tell the captain/crew. From first class, I could see the passenger in aisle looking confused as to where her seat was. When the passenger was confronted, she did not resist getting off. She was having trouble standing on the jetbridge. She was traveling with another lady, who pleaded that we might let her go, because she was traveling with her and would take care of her. They both stayed in lga. The #2 flight attendant did great in recognizing the problem, but thanks to the captain's support, we got the passenger off the aircraft.
