Narrative:

During the meal service, a passenger approached flight attendant #3 while she was working on the meal cart and demanded a meal. Flight attendant #3 was serving passenger in row XXX, and the passenger that demanded to have his meal was seated in row xxh. Flight attendant #3 asked the passenger to please have a seat, and she would serve him as soon as she got to his row. All of this took place on the right side of the aircraft, and I was working the left side of the aircraft. After the passenger returned to his seat, I noticed that a male passenger in seat xyg jumped up from his seat and started confronting the passenger in xxh. When I noticed the 2 men were having some sort of altercation, I went over to the right side of the aircraft to find out what the problem was. The gentleman in seat xyg stated that the passenger in seat xxh had been harassing his 2 young daughters who were in seats xyh and xyj, and he was tired of this man harassing his children. I asked both men to please take their seats and the gentleman in seat xyg took his seat as requested. However, the passenger in seat xxh continued to harass the passenger in seat xyg. I finally had to tell the passenger in xxh if he didn't situation down in his seat and remain quiet I would contact the captain concerning his behavior. The passenger sat down and started a confrontation with me, flight attendant #2. I walked away to contact the captain and the purser about the situation in the main cabin. As I walked to the aft of the aircraft, I heard the passenger in xxh threaten to do harm to the gentleman in xyg and his daughters in xyh and xyj when they arrived in paris. I also confiscated a bottle of unopened champagne from the passenger in seat xxh. I called the captain and told him that the passenger was out of control and I thought we may have to land to have him removed. The purser and 2 foreign language speakers came to the back of the aircraft to talk to the passenger in xxh, due to the fact he was a foreign citizen. When the purser and flight attendant #7 and flight attendant #5 came back to talk to the passenger in foreign language, he kept requesting a bottle of champagne, so he could take some valium medication. The flight attendant #5 refused to give him champagne and he began to get upset. Flight attendant #7 retrieved the valium from the passenger, because it was obvious the passenger in xxh was intoxicated and we did not want him taking any kind of drugs in his condition. The captain and purser finally made the decision to land in yqx to have him removed from the aircraft. Upon landing in yqx, the passenger in xxh who was originally seated in xxc or xxg, came to the back of the aircraft asking for more champagne once again. I escorted the passenger right out the aircraft door into the custody of yqx constable. Reports were taken by the yqx constable, and reports were written by all flight attendants involved in the incident. Upon returning to jfk, flight service met the aircraft and demanded reports from all flight attendants on the trip. The next day I called our union to inform safety coordinator about the situation.

Narrative: DURING THE MEAL SVC, A PAX APCHED FLT ATTENDANT #3 WHILE SHE WAS WORKING ON THE MEAL CART AND DEMANDED A MEAL. FLT ATTENDANT #3 WAS SERVING PAX IN ROW XXX, AND THE PAX THAT DEMANDED TO HAVE HIS MEAL WAS SEATED IN ROW XXH. FLT ATTENDANT #3 ASKED THE PAX TO PLEASE HAVE A SEAT, AND SHE WOULD SERVE HIM AS SOON AS SHE GOT TO HIS ROW. ALL OF THIS TOOK PLACE ON THE R SIDE OF THE ACFT, AND I WAS WORKING THE L SIDE OF THE ACFT. AFTER THE PAX RETURNED TO HIS SEAT, I NOTICED THAT A MALE PAX IN SEAT XYG JUMPED UP FROM HIS SEAT AND STARTED CONFRONTING THE PAX IN XXH. WHEN I NOTICED THE 2 MEN WERE HAVING SOME SORT OF ALTERCATION, I WENT OVER TO THE R SIDE OF THE ACFT TO FIND OUT WHAT THE PROB WAS. THE GENTLEMAN IN SEAT XYG STATED THAT THE PAX IN SEAT XXH HAD BEEN HARASSING HIS 2 YOUNG DAUGHTERS WHO WERE IN SEATS XYH AND XYJ, AND HE WAS TIRED OF THIS MAN HARASSING HIS CHILDREN. I ASKED BOTH MEN TO PLEASE TAKE THEIR SEATS AND THE GENTLEMAN IN SEAT XYG TOOK HIS SEAT AS REQUESTED. HOWEVER, THE PAX IN SEAT XXH CONTINUED TO HARASS THE PAX IN SEAT XYG. I FINALLY HAD TO TELL THE PAX IN XXH IF HE DIDN'T SIT DOWN IN HIS SEAT AND REMAIN QUIET I WOULD CONTACT THE CAPT CONCERNING HIS BEHAVIOR. THE PAX SAT DOWN AND STARTED A CONFRONTATION WITH ME, FLT ATTENDANT #2. I WALKED AWAY TO CONTACT THE CAPT AND THE PURSER ABOUT THE SIT IN THE MAIN CABIN. AS I WALKED TO THE AFT OF THE ACFT, I HEARD THE PAX IN XXH THREATEN TO DO HARM TO THE GENTLEMAN IN XYG AND HIS DAUGHTERS IN XYH AND XYJ WHEN THEY ARRIVED IN PARIS. I ALSO CONFISCATED A BOTTLE OF UNOPENED CHAMPAGNE FROM THE PAX IN SEAT XXH. I CALLED THE CAPT AND TOLD HIM THAT THE PAX WAS OUT OF CTL AND I THOUGHT WE MAY HAVE TO LAND TO HAVE HIM REMOVED. THE PURSER AND 2 FOREIGN LANGUAGE SPEAKERS CAME TO THE BACK OF THE ACFT TO TALK TO THE PAX IN XXH, DUE TO THE FACT HE WAS A FOREIGN CITIZEN. WHEN THE PURSER AND FLT ATTENDANT #7 AND FLT ATTENDANT #5 CAME BACK TO TALK TO THE PAX IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE, HE KEPT REQUESTING A BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE, SO HE COULD TAKE SOME VALIUM MEDICATION. THE FLT ATTENDANT #5 REFUSED TO GIVE HIM CHAMPAGNE AND HE BEGAN TO GET UPSET. FLT ATTENDANT #7 RETRIEVED THE VALIUM FROM THE PAX, BECAUSE IT WAS OBVIOUS THE PAX IN XXH WAS INTOXICATED AND WE DID NOT WANT HIM TAKING ANY KIND OF DRUGS IN HIS CONDITION. THE CAPT AND PURSER FINALLY MADE THE DECISION TO LAND IN YQX TO HAVE HIM REMOVED FROM THE ACFT. UPON LNDG IN YQX, THE PAX IN XXH WHO WAS ORIGINALLY SEATED IN XXC OR XXG, CAME TO THE BACK OF THE ACFT ASKING FOR MORE CHAMPAGNE ONCE AGAIN. I ESCORTED THE PAX RIGHT OUT THE ACFT DOOR INTO THE CUSTODY OF YQX CONSTABLE. RPTS WERE TAKEN BY THE YQX CONSTABLE, AND RPTS WERE WRITTEN BY ALL FLT ATTENDANTS INVOLVED IN THE INCIDENT. UPON RETURNING TO JFK, FLT SVC MET THE ACFT AND DEMANDED RPTS FROM ALL FLT ATTENDANTS ON THE TRIP. THE NEXT DAY I CALLED OUR UNION TO INFORM SAFETY COORDINATOR ABOUT THE SIT.
