Narrative:

Mr X, seat xh, was caught smoking in the business class lavatory. He appeared intoxicated and was refused further alcohol. He was caught taking alcohol from first class. He disrupted service. He would not follow directives from the flight attendants. He would not stay in his seat when the fasten seat belt sign was on. He would not show an identify when requested to do so. I requested an officer to meet plane with csr (customer service representative) to assist in obtaining his identify. Mr X never showed remorse for smoking, and I believe he will do it again at the next opportunity. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter said that the man extinguished his cigarette in water and then threw it into the trash container. The lead flight attendant found it. The man had been drinking when he boarded, but he wasn't drunk. When confronted by the flight attendant about the smoking, he said it was no big deal, that his sister was a flight attendant and he knew that it wasn't a big deal. He was a passenger in first class and thought that after the crew cut his drinking off, he was entitled to the liquor that he was caught stealing. The police did meet the flight, but the cabin crew didn't want to press charges because he didn't physically touch or harm anyone. The captain thought that charges should have been filed.
