Narrative:
While on instrument approach near FAF, encountered helicopter approximately 200 ft below our aircraft in opposite direction. Our aircraft was in near solid IMC on localizer approach to hhr. Perhaps 2 unknown aircraft were in conflict with us. However, only had brief visual contact with 1 helicopter.

Title: NMAC BTWN A CPR BEECH 1900 ON A LOC APCH TO HHR AT 1000 FT AND A HELI LEVEL 200 FT BELOW IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. NEITHER ACFT HAD TIME TO TAKE EVASIVE ACTION.
Narrative: WHILE ON INST APCH NEAR FAF, ENCOUNTERED HELI APPROX 200 FT BELOW OUR ACFT IN OPPOSITE DIRECTION. OUR ACFT WAS IN NEAR SOLID IMC ON LOC APCH TO HHR. PERHAPS 2 UNKNOWN ACFT WERE IN CONFLICT WITH US. HOWEVER, ONLY HAD BRIEF VISUAL CONTACT WITH 1 HELI.
