Narrative:

#3 engine oil quantity loss, shutdown, divert lit. Flight abc, dfw-phl, FL270, noticed #3 engine oil quantity decreasing through 2.0 gallons (started at 3.8 gallons at gate). Quantity decreased to zero. Shut down engine as oil pressure dropped through 35 psi. At this time, 30 NM from lit and notified dispatch through lit operations of our intentions to land lit. Dumped approximately 3000 pounds of fuel in descent to lit. Shut down #3 engine at XA10Z, landed lit at XA30Z. Declared emergency and stopped on lit runway for crash fire rescue equipment to check #3 engine exterior. No problems noted and taxied to gate. Normal landing (below maximum landing weight). Outstanding cockpit/cabin crew coordination.
