Narrative:
Inadvertent climb to FL335 (FL330 assigned). Autoplt leveloff/altitude capture feature was armed, but did not engage. Autoplt was manually disengaged at FL333 and aircraft pitch decreased to effect a descent without causing discomfort to passenger. Captain's altimeter reached a maximum of FL335 with setting of 29.92. Aircraft leveled off at FL330.
