Narrative:

During the modification of overwing slide door sensor and target relocation, it was found that EICAS system did not display door open message with forward latch in unlatched condition. Engineering was contacted, deviated from airworthiness directive per engineering, trimmed target, after 4 months no change in airworthiness directive and told by management not to deviate from airworthiness directive even if it's wrong. Title: A B757-200 HAD AN AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE ISSUED ON ESCAPE DOOR SLIDE SENSOR WHICH CONTAINED AN ERROR CAUSING FALSE EICAS POS WARNING. ENGINEERING CORRECTED ERROR BUT AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE NOTE NOT CORRECTED.
